UI/UX Design Intern

Role Overview

Join the Shopee team as a UI/UX Design Intern, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and developers to create innovative user-centered design solutions for both web and app platforms. This role emphasizes crafting intuitive user interfaces aligned with platform guidelines that support seamless development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and prototype UI/UX designs from the end user's perspective.
• Adhere to established design standards to produce professional digital assets that are compliant and functional.
• Develop design approaches incorporating functionality, logic, and interactivity to enhance user experience.

Candidate Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university or polytechnic, ideally pursuing a major in design-related fields such as interaction design, graphic design, visual communications, product design, industrial design, human-computer interaction (HCI), information systems (IS), computer science (CS), or equivalent Diploma/Degree programs.
• Possess a solid understanding of e-Commerce platforms and related business design concepts.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Figma; additional skills in animation and prototyping tools are considered a plus.
• Clearly indicate availability including start and end dates, as well as part-time or full-time commitment, preferably in the application comments.
• Preference given to full-time interns for a duration of 3 to 6 months; part-time candidates committing at least 3 working days weekly are also encouraged to apply.
