About the Role
This full-time position at a leading global operations company based in Dublin, Ireland, involves maintaining safe online environments as part of the Trust & Safety team. The role requires flexible work hours within a 24/7 operational setting and is a 12-month contract with a potential extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and moderate user-generated content including profiles, audio, videos, and text to ensure compliance with client standards.
- Keep updated on evolving platform policies and guidelines to apply accurate moderation decisions.
- Investigate and resolve complex content-related issues, escalating when necessary within the Trust & Safety group.
- Act as an advocate for the user community by ensuring a safe and respectful platform environment.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing process quality and efficiency.
- Engage regularly in training and team discussions for continuous development.
- Participate in conversations surrounding socially sensitive subjects to help maintain community safety.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent proficiency in Danish language including understanding and communication.
- Strong emotional resilience and coping abilities to manage exposure to potentially sensitive or graphic content.
- Objective decision-making capabilities to apply client guidelines without personal bias.
- Keen attention to detail and analytical skills to synthesize information from various sources.
- Passion and knowledge of internet platforms, culture, and the political/social context of the relevant region.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member and work independently.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in customer service, business process outsourcing, or content moderation is advantageous.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Additional Information
The role may involve exposure to flashing lights or contrasting light patterns due to the nature of the content reviewed. Participation in a well-being support program specific to Trust & Safety personnel is part of the employment to support mental health and resilience.
Working night shifts may require a health assessment to ensure fitness for duty.
