Truck Sourcing Executive

About the Role

We are seeking qualified professionals to join our operations team to assist in sourcing trucks from registered suppliers to fulfill daily transportation requests effectively.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

• Ensure timely provision of trucks fulfilling daily orders by coordinating with approved carriers according to operational schedules.
• Maintain communication with transport companies and drivers to guarantee truck readiness and loading processes.
• Schedule truck movements and provide continuous updates to the operations team.
• Immediately report and document incidents such as accidents, delays, losses, or thefts, and arrange alternatives without delay.
• Verify carriers' compliance with contractual terms including truck type, vehicle condition, and driver conduct.
• Conduct regular site visits to suppliers to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Support performance evaluations of carriers and drivers and coordinate closely with operational teams and warehouses.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the transportation sector.
• Strong communication skills.
