Role Overview
The Treasury Officer position is a full-time, on-premise role based in Asokoro, Lagos. The individual will manage daily cash flow activities, consistently monitor bank balances, and ensure sufficient funds to fulfill operational requirements and investment initiatives across the group. Duties include overseeing cash management operations, preparing detailed treasury reports, supporting financing arrangements, and accurately maintaining records of all treasury transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash flows and monitor the group’s bank balances.
- Ensure availability of funds to meet operational and investment needs.
- Oversee all cash management activities and treasury transactions.
- Prepare and present treasury reports for management review.
- Assist with financing arrangements and liaise with banks and financial institutions.
- Contribute to risk management initiatives connected to treasury operations.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to optimize liquidity and support strategic business goals.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in treasury management and treasury services.
- Solid understanding of finance and cash management principles.
- Advanced analytical abilities for interpreting financial data and making informed decisions.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications like CTP, ACA, ACCA, or comparable credentials are advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with treasury or ERP systems, exhibiting great accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Asokoro in a dynamic multi-subsidiary environment.
