Role Overview
We are seeking a Total Rewards Manager to lead and execute comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies aligned with our expansion goals. This hands-on role involves managing compensation cycles, ensuring competitive salary positioning, administering incentive plans, harmonizing benefits across countries, and maintaining data integrity and compliance amid evolving regulations, including the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mid-year and annual compensation cycles following the Radford job architecture, maintaining salary structures at competitive market medians with peer benchmarking.
- Update and sustain salary benchmarking using Radford Global Technology Survey data to ensure market competitiveness against other PE-backed fintech firms.
- Drive the dissemination and adoption of the company’s Compensation Philosophy throughout the organization.
- Provide expert guidance on compensation decisions for hiring, promotions, lateral moves, and acquisitions ensuring fairness and market alignment.
- Identify and resolve salary outliers by coordinating remediation with HR Business Partners.
- Prepare for and support compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive; conduct pay gap analyses and maintain documentation across all jurisdictions.
- Operate the Management Incentive Plan (MIP) in collaboration with PE owners, managing participant tracking, plan modelling, schedules, and communications.
- Serve as the primary liaison between HR and private equity partners regarding MIP inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
- Evaluate and harmonize employee benefits programs across ten countries to address gaps, reduce duplication, and align offerings with market standards and employee expectations.
- Manage relationships with benefits vendors, oversee renewals and re-tendering processes, and ensure accurate benefits data integration with HR platforms such as BambooHR and Deel.
- Act as a subject matter expert on statutory benefits requirements within each jurisdiction to ensure full legal compliance.
- Maintain accurate and reliable compensation and benefits data to serve as the authoritative source within the company.
- Generate regular reports for HR leadership and Executive Leadership Team, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Support merger and acquisition due diligence focusing on compensation and benefits matters.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years’ professional experience managing compensation and benefits within multi-country tech or fintech environments.
- Strong proficiency with Radford or equivalent compensation benchmarking tools (Mercer, Willis Towers Watson), capable of analyzing and applying survey data effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of EU employment law related to compensation and benefits across multiple countries.
- Familiarity with the practical implications of the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
- Advanced analytical aptitude with detailed Excel work and translating data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as BambooHR and payroll platforms like Deel.
- Excellent communicator who provides pragmatic advice, identifies risks prudently, and challenges inconsistencies professionally.
- Proactive in leveraging AI tools for data analysis, content drafting, modelling, and research to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Curious and engaged with the evolving impact of AI on workforce planning, pay equity analysis, and benchmarking technologies.
- Adaptable to refining processes in a fast-growing, developing organizational environment, embracing innovative tools and approaches.
