Role Overview
Join Jet2.com's Hangar team at Leeds Bradford Airport as a Tooling Storekeeper, playing a vital role in supporting our valued customers by ensuring all aircraft tooling is correctly controlled, stored, handled, and maintained with a strong adherence to engineering procedures and aircraft safety standards. This position operates on a 4 on 4 off rotation, consisting of 2 days and 2 nights shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure proper control, storage, packing, and handling of all aircraft tooling in line with published engineering guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections and minor maintenance on aircraft tooling.
- Identify defective tools and coordinate efficient and cost-effective dispatch for repair or calibration.
- Operate tooling god functions and manage the shipment of Tooling Dangerous Goods as required.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of tooling transactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure tooling needs are met.
- Implement and respond to Tooling Change Bulletins and Tooling Equipment Bulletins promptly.
- Uphold the tooling department's mission statement: 'Right Tool, Right Place, Right Time'.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
- Experience handling tooling equipment, preferably with knowledge of the aviation industry.
- Understanding of tooling and stores management processes.
- A proactive, pragmatic approach with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Flexibility and willingness to meet operational needs.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Possession of a full UK driving license is essential.
Work Schedule
Following an initial training period, the role operates on a shift pattern of 2 days followed by 2 nights, then 4 days off.
