TikTok LIVE - AI Data Operation Specialist (Vietnamese Speaking)

About the Role and Team

The livestream sector is rapidly expanding and serves as a key growth engine for TikTok's global business. It offers an engaging platform for users and creators to connect and innovate. We are currently seeking an AI Data Operation Specialist to spearhead quality initiatives related to content moderation. This role combines human content labeling with advanced machine learning methods, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to maintain high standards across the TikTok Live service.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in training AI models, extracting meaningful insights from moderation data, tackling complex content issues, and coordinating with partner teams for efficient problem-solving. The role demands strong analytical skills, a high degree of ownership, teamwork, meticulous attention to detail, and a continual drive to enhance existing processes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain rigorous content quality benchmarks with BPO teams, including activities like onboarding, training, managing policy discussions, calibrations, and arbitration.
• Conduct content labeling tailored to various business needs, analyze trends from labeled data, and lead quality evaluation projects delivering actionable insights.
• Train AI models by preparing and refining large labeled datasets, improving model decision accuracy through iterative processes and reinforcement learning, and identifying potential gaps in LLM decisions with supporting examples.
• Examine moderation and labeling data from multiple sources to discover trends or correlations and support impact analysis and solution development.
• Act as the custodian of quality-related resources, introducing innovative technological solutions to enhance individual and team content quality output.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fields like Business, Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Communications, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years' experience with AI data operations, particularly involving AI/ML for content quality or product operations, ideally within technology, digital content, or moderation domains.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization software such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalents.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts, including Large Language Models.
• Strong analytical capabilities to detect patterns in complex datasets and produce useful insights.
• Fluency in English (both oral and written) is necessary. Additionally, proficiency in Vietnamese is required to better monitor and enhance TikTok’s Vietnamese livestream ecosystem.

• Exceptional analytical skills capable of converting data into actionable recommendations that shape strategy and drive solutions.
• Highly adaptable, proactive, and self-driven with a track record of thriving in dynamic and evolving environments.
• Solid understanding of machine learning evaluation metrics and optimization methods.
• Keen interest in LLMs, human behavior, and user experience, along with enthusiasm for diverse case studies and annotator engagement.
• Prior experience as a Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) annotator for renowned AI/LLM organizations is highly desirable.
