Role and Responsibilities

• Develop original textile designs and pattern concepts specifically for men's innerwear products.
• Create and showcase design proposals, including detailed specifications and color schemes.
• Work closely with fashion designers, product teams, and manufacturers to ensure cohesive product development.
• Keep abreast of contemporary trends in fabric materials, colors, and textile innovations.
• Test various materials and fabric textures to enhance design quality.
• Utilize CAD software tools to produce digital design drafts.
• Supervise sample production and evaluate fabric samples with constructive feedback.
• Ensure that final designs balance aesthetic appeal and functional usability.
• Modify existing design templates to suit different fabrics and product lines.
• Conduct research and procure sustainable and cutting-edge textile materials.
• Manage project timelines and budget constraints effectively for design assignments.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 5 to 10 years of mandatory experience in the garment or apparel industry.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a similar discipline.
• Demonstrate solid expertise in knitwear design targeted at men's innerwear segments.
• Proficient with design software such as Adobe Photoshop and CorelDRAW.
• Acquainted with graphic design principles and practices.
• Experienced in using textile design specific software applications.
• Have comprehensive knowledge of fabric types and material characteristics.
• Understand fabric trims and garment construction thoroughly.
• Exhibit strong creativity paired with effective communication abilities.
