Territory Service Representative (Bikers)

Role Overview

Blue Dart is hiring a Territory Service Representative for biker-based delivery and pickup operations in Thrissur, Kerala. The role focuses on handling shipments across the local route, ensuring correct scanning, sorting, delivery, pickup, and handover processes are completed accurately and on time.

Delivery Responsibilities

• Remove shipment bags from the vehicle and manage them carefully at the start of the route.
• Scan parcels before movement and delivery.
• Carry out both primary and secondary sorting of shipments.
• Outscan shipments according to the assigned delivery route.
• Deliver parcels strictly to the address mentioned on the package.
• Collect customer acknowledgment through the BYOD device.
• Use the correct status code for shipments that could not be delivered at the customer location.
• Follow the delivery process as explained during training.
• Hand over COD collections to the supervisor on the same day.
• Return undelivered shipments to the supervisor as required.
• Maintain the required dress code and carry field bags to all delivery points.

Pickup Responsibilities

• Carry out pickups in line with SOP requirements.
• Reach customer locations for pickup within the defined cut-off time.
• Verify whether the location is serviceable before accepting the pickup.
• Count the shipments at the customer site and obtain acknowledgment on the pickup sheet.
• Inscan shipments at the office and complete Rapid Entry handling.
• Perform primary and secondary sorting after pickup.
• Complete bagging of shipments.
• Load canvas bags into the vehicle.
• Reach the location on time to ensure smooth onward connection.

Additional Information

This role includes operational handling of both delivery and pickup workflows. The company states that the delivery process will be explained during training. Terms & Conditions

Any undelivered consignments must be handed back to the supervisor. Cash-on-delivery amounts are to be remitted to the supervisor on the same day. Proper uniform/dress standards and carrying field bags are expected at all delivery points. Pickup handling must be completed within the prescribed cut-off timing and according to serviceability checks.
