Technology Manager - Java Platform

About the Role

We are searching for an experienced Technology Manager specializing in Java Microservices to lead engineering teams in Hyderabad. The role demands a seasoned professional with over 13 years in software engineering and at least 3 years in engineering leadership, capable of guiding global delivery teams to develop scalable, high-caliber enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The manager will be accountable for directing teams to deliver high-quality software products using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures involving Kafka and event-driven systems. Responsibilities include overseeing solution design, enhancing code quality, supervising SDLC governance, managing releases, and supporting production environments. Leadership of offshore and vendor teams is crucial for this position.

Required Expertise

A strong practical background with Java technologies (Java, Spring Boot), API and Microservices architecture, Kafka/event-driven systems, and databases like Oracle or MongoDB is essential. Proficiency in release cycles and production support is necessary. Prior experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, and financial services sector knowledge, especially in banking and payments domain, are highly valued.
