Role overview

This is a permanent Technical Solutions Consultant position with a salary of £60,000 to £65,000. The role is hybrid/remote, but it does require occasional travel. It is based in Birmingham, England, United Kingdom and is with a marketing agency operating in the Midlands.

The company is looking for a commercially minded consultant with a technical foundation who can act as the link between clients, internal teams, and the business offering. The ideal person will be able to gather information effectively, discuss technical matters with confidence, and present the agency’s services in a persuasive and professional way.

Key responsibilities

• Work as the connecting point between technical teams, commercial discussions, and client needs.
• Collect and interpret information to support solutions and service positioning.
• Communicate comfortably with colleagues across the business and help align requirements.
• Confidently promote and sell the company’s services.
• Use consultancy experience to support solution-led conversations.
• Travel when needed for the role.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a consultancy-focused role.
• Strong communication skills and a confident manner.
• Technical or development knowledge; any development experience is considered a strong advantage.
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into workable solutions.
• Capability to support sales conversations and present services effectively.

Bonus experience

• Background in B2B marketing.
• Experience working in an agency environment.
