Technical Software Writer

Role overview

The company is looking for a Technical Software Writer to produce clear, useful documentation for software products and related user needs. This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is a full-time onsite role.

What you will do

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather the information needed for product documentation.
• Develop high-quality written content that aligns with company standards and audience expectations.
• Draft simple user guides, tutorials, and in-app or interface copy that is easy to follow.
• Work with different content formats, including visuals such as images and charts where useful.
• Review existing documentation and refine it to improve clarity and effectiveness.

What we are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience creating technical documentation for software products.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office tools.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and general software development concepts.
• Strong spoken and written communication abilities.
• Previous hands-on software development experience is required for this position.
