Technical Lead – Liferay DXP (Arabic Speaker)

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Technical Lead specialized in Liferay DXP to oversee the design and implementation of a complex government digital platform based in Abu Dhabi. This position demands extensive technical knowledge and leadership capabilities to manage a development team effectively.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Lead the development initiatives related to Liferay DXP-based projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in software and web development, with at least 3 years dedicated to Liferay DXP hands-on work.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Java, OSGi modular system, Web APIs including REST and GraphQL, cloud platform Azure, and agile DevOps practices with Azure DevOps.
• Have experience managing teams consisting of at least five developers, providing technical direction and mentorship.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker, relational databases PostgreSQL or MySQL, full-text search systems such as Elasticsearch, and security protocols including OAuth and SAML.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Experience in delivering enterprise-scale content management system or portal solutions is essential, with preference given to candidates with previous involvement in government sector projects.
