Role Overview

This newly created permanent full-time role within the Business Development team at the Canberra head office focuses on identifying, engaging, and attracting top ICT talent for permanent, casual, and contract roles across Australia. Responsibilities include recruitment, talent mapping, pipeline development, workforce utilization management, and maintaining compliance with client and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage ICT professionals for various employment types leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK, CRM, and network referrals.
  • Develop talent pools in Cloud, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Networking, Data & AI, Architecture, Software Engineering, Project Services, and related tech disciplines.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to understand client needs and sourcing priorities.
  • Manage candidate screening, assessment of technical and communication skills, interview coordination, and reference checking.
  • Support onboarding processes for clients and new hires.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and permanent candidates to foster talent communities.
  • Maintain candidate data and activities accurately in the CRM in line with compliance standards.
  • Prepare candidate profiles and documentation for client submissions.
  • Monitor ICT market trends, emerging technologies, and talent availability.
  • Contribute to workforce utilization management by aligning resources with demand, addressing compliance, bench time, forecast gaps, and competing priorities to maximize productivity and customer results.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic recruiters with proven experience in talent acquisition or candidate sourcing, ideally within the technology field. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and timeliness is important. Strong sourcing skills utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK, and CRMs, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, and strong organizational skills are essential. A genuine interest in technology and the Australian ICT landscape is also valued. Australian Citizenship and eligibility for an Australian Government Security Clearance are mandatory.

Preferred Experience

  • Recruitment in areas such as Cloud & Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Networking, Microsoft Technologies, Data & AI, Enterprise Architecture, Software Development, Project Management, Business Analysis, and Service Management.
  • Experience recruiting for Australian Federal Government roles or knowledge of security clearances (Baseline, NV1, NV2, PV) is advantageous.
