Job Overview

We seek a dedicated team member to work Sunday through Wednesday shifts at our takeout fried chicken establishment. These days tend to be slower in customer flow, so the position emphasizes thorough cleaning, maintenance, and preparation tasks. The kitchen operates with only one person on duty at a time.

Responsibilities

• Take customers' orders
• Prepare and cook menu items following recipe instructions
• Ensure safe food handling and maintain hygiene according to food safety standards
• Clean, sanitize, and organize work areas consistently
• Manage inventory efficiently, including stocking and rotating supplies
• Store food correctly to minimize waste
• Keep the kitchen environment clean, orderly, and efficient

Qualifications

• Committed to a long-term role; not suitable for short-term engagements
• Strong aptitude for performing cleaning duties
• Dedicated to adhering to a fixed shift schedule and to covering for absent colleagues
• Previous food service or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Capable of multitasking effectively in a dynamic workspace
• Physically able to safely carry loads up to 20 kg
• Ready to obtain food handling certification after employment
• Multilingual skills are an asset; please indicate any language proficiencies in your application

Compensation and Application

Wages begin at 17.60 per hour with regular performance-based increases. Candidates must include a resume with their application; those without a resume will not be considered.
