TAFE Services Coordinator

Overview

This temporary full-time opportunity runs until June 2027 at the Ballina Campus, with a talent pool also being formed for future vacancies in Ballina, Byron Bay, Casino and Murwillumbah for an 18-month period.

The total salary package is $91,081 to $100,536, which includes a base salary of $80,246 to $88,576 plus employer superannuation contributions and annual leave loading.

Role Summary

The Services Coordinator acts as a link between internal corporate teams and the campus community, supporting staff and students with services and acting as a contact point for the wider community through engagement with external organisations.

The position also manages a range of on-site operational tasks to keep the campus running smoothly, safely and in an organised way. This includes helping coordinate local services, assisting with incident and issue handling, and providing prompt support to staff, students and visitors so the campus remains welcoming and conducive to learning.

About You

You bring strong customer service skills, a positive approach and a willingness to coordinate practical on-the-ground services that support campus safety and activity.

You have proven experience building relationships and networking with a variety of stakeholders, along with the ability to develop strong rapport with colleagues and community members.

You communicate well, negotiate effectively, and are comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite. You work independently, take initiative, stay focused on results, and can solve problems while balancing multiple priorities.

Essential Requirements

• A current Working with Children Check is required before starting.
• A Certificate IV in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience, skills and knowledge, is required.
• You must have demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse groups and to monitor and deliver services that meet customer needs.
• Flexible availability, including evening shifts to match TAFE operating hours, is necessary.
