Role Overview

The Swim Coach will play a central role in delivering engaging, technically sound swimming lessons to children of various ages and skill levels. This position demands a coach with energy and ambition who can create an inspiring and safe learning environment rather than simply overseeing laps.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting enjoyable, organized, and progressively challenging swim lessons.
• Evaluating swimmers' abilities and monitoring their progress regularly.
• Instructing all four competitive swimming strokes effectively.
• Building swimmers' water confidence and essential safety awareness.
• Providing personalized feedback and recognizing swimmers' achievements.
• Establishing positive relationships with swimmers and their families.
• Upholding stringent poolside safety protocols at all times.
• Assisting with assessments, special events, swimming camps, and related programs.
• Collaborating with an international team of coaching professionals.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a recognized swimming teaching or coaching certification.
• Proven experience coaching children across a range of ages and skill levels.
• Strong expertise in swimming techniques and stroke development.
• Comprehensive understanding of water safety measures and pool operations.
• Certifications in lifeguarding, CPR, and/or First Aid are advantageous.
• Effective communication skills with children and parents.
• Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor.
• Dependable with excellent organizational capabilities.
• Availability to coach during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to infuse personality into lessons to foster enthusiasm and retention.
