Key Responsibilities

• Perform research to aid the development of Tolaram’s global sustainability strategies across various industries and regions.
• Analyze social aspects such as community engagement, human rights, and employee welfare, as well as environmental topics like energy use, emissions, and waste management.
• Monitor sustainability trends, produce newsletters, and facilitate peer learning forums.
• Manage ongoing sustainability initiatives at Tolaram’s Singapore office including desk research, feasibility assessments, employee involvement, and organizing small-scale events focused on waste reduction, employee welfare, and eco-friendly procurement.
• Assist with collection, entry, and analysis of sustainability-related data across Tolaram’s business units, especially for the Singapore office.
• Coordinate internal communications and meetings about sustainability efforts with business units and external partners.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Solid understanding and enthusiasm for corporate sustainability principles.
• Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office and Canva.
• Ability to independently conduct interdisciplinary research and deliver quality outcomes.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical capability.
• Good interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in diverse, multicultural teams.
• Organized and clear presentation abilities.
• High ethical standards and values aligned with the company’s mission.

Additional Information

• Reports to the Senior Sustainability Associate.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Singapore as sponsorship for work permits is not available.

Eligibility and Application Details

• This internship is suitable for full-time candidates starting from August 2026 onwards.
• Applicants should be in their 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate study or recently graduated.
• The internship duration is ideally a minimum of 3 to 4 months on a full-time basis.
