This role is set up as a hybrid schedule with one work-from-home day on Fridays and four onsite days Monday through Thursday. The standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must already live in the greater Seattle area.

The company is a long-established snack manufacturer with a mission centered on delivering innovative, convenient, protein-rich products that support healthier choices. The business employs more than 700 food professionals and emphasizes innovation, quality, collaboration, and growth.

What the Role Focuses On

This position is suited to someone who is highly analytical, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-moving consumer packaged goods environment. The analyst will help ensure product availability, reduce waste, improve inventory accuracy, strengthen transportation performance, and support continuous improvement across manufacturing and distribution operations.

The role partners with demand planning, production planning, customer service, sales, procurement, operations, finance, and third-party logistics providers to keep inventory flowing correctly and to improve service levels across the network. It also provides broad exposure to inventory management, transportation, distribution, forecasting support, and supply chain analytics.

Primary Duties

  • Track inventory across manufacturing sites, distribution centers, and 3PL partners so product availability stays strong while excess stock and waste are kept low.
  • Reconcile inventory records and dig into mismatches found at warehouses or with third-party logistics partners.
  • Review inventory health using metrics such as Days of Supply, stock aging, slow-moving items, and shelf-life exposure.
  • Evaluate carrier performance against SLAs, delivery timeliness, freight spend, and customer delivery expectations.
  • Work with warehousing, customer service, and demand planning teams so inventory and transportation plans align with business needs.
  • Use Transportation Management Systems and transportation data to find freight savings, improve routing, and strengthen carrier performance.
  • Monitor core metrics including on-time delivery, cost per pound, forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and days of supply.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools in Excel and internal systems.
  • Spot and help implement process changes that improve efficiency, service, and inventory accuracy.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

Oberto is looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related discipline, along with 0 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, operations, customer service, or a similar area. Experience working with major retailers or ecommerce channels such as Costco, Walmart, Amazon, or Target is preferred.

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills are required, and familiarity with TMS and ERP software is also important.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

The job is primarily office-based, but the employee may also be exposed to production-floor conditions. Work may involve office equipment and materials, chemicals, wet floors, wet equipment, high voltage, hot water, and steam. The environment can vary in temperature.

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl on a frequent basis
  • Ability to climb stairs and similar physical movement as needed
  • Comfort working in changing temperature conditions
  • Ability to safely move or handle items under 25 lbs
  • Ability to talk, hear, and smell frequently
  • Ability to reach, grasp, finger, and handle objects, tools, or controls frequently
  • Visual ability including close vision, distance vision, and focus adjustment

Compensation

Oberto offers a broad benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, a wellness program, and a flexible spending account. Additional offerings include flexible personal time off, a 401(k) plan with company match, annual performance incentive, 10 paid holidays, paid sick leave, paid time off, and an employee stock ownership plan with contribution match.
