Student Training Program Manager, Education Impact

The Education Unit's Global Impact team develops training and community programs that have benefited over 140 million learners and educators, helping them effectively use Google tools like Gemini, Google Workspace for Education, and Chromebooks.

This role seeks a program manager focused on designing and managing educational content and training programs for student audiences during this transformative period.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end strategy, planning, and implementation of innovative training content and educational product programs tailored for K-12 and higher education students.
• Develop and update train-the-trainer curricula and materials to equip educators with resources for student training.
• Conduct research on student learning styles, technology access, and topics of interest to guide choices in content format, gamification elements, platforms, and subject matter.
• Collaborate with reputable curriculum partners and cross-functional teams to create high-quality programs that support academic achievement and workforce readiness, identifying scalable training solutions.
• Manage and sustain student certification programs within the learning center platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in program or project management.
• 3 years in managing content programs, instructional design, certification development, or curriculum creation focused on educational or training content.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools applied in educational contexts.

• Preferred: Program management certification or technology industry program management experience.
• 3 years managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and management.
• Proven track record developing student-oriented training content, interactive curricula, or video-based learning materials.
• Ability to perform research, analyze data, and leverage insights to guide content strategy and development.

• Compensation for this role in the US ranges from $111,000 to $160,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
