About the role
This position is part of the Business Strategy & Operations function, which turns data into actionable insight, keeps teams aligned on priorities, and supports the launch and scaling of strategic initiatives. The role sits within the Product Go-To-Market team and focuses on helping grow and defend the LCS business across the APAC region through media incentive products, tools, and program best practices.
As a Strategy and Operations Senior Associate for APAC Commercials, you will help strengthen commercial agreements and support long-term business growth across the region. Your work will involve product acceleration efforts such as Media Trials, product readiness initiatives such as Media Readiness Programs, and business acceleration efforts including VIP and agency deals. You will also shape thinking around solution flywheels and market fit, while building or nurturing internal and external ecosystems that support APAC growth across key product priorities.
The Go-to-Market Operations team keeps Google's Ads business running effectively across a changing and complex environment. It helps define go-to-market direction and ensures strong execution against that strategy. Team members are expected to combine analytical thinking with practical execution.

Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in product strategy or operations, specialist roles, sales, or agency commercial work.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with advertisers and agencies.
- Exposure to competitive analysis and the broader market landscape.
- Knowledge of marketing and media buying.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous and complex situations.
- Strong ability to communicate ideas clearly, build relationships, manage conflicts, and influence others.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Act as the regional subject-matter expert on commercial agreements.
- Independently shape and deliver go-to-market commercial strategies that encourage client growth and product adoption.
- Develop and roll out regional activation programs in partnership with others, including thought leadership, processes, training, agreement enablement, and ecosystem development.
- Influence senior product and sales leaders, along with cross-functional stakeholders, to support strategies and features that advance APAC large customer sales.
- Work closely with specialist, agency, and sales leaders across key APAC markets to unlock major growth opportunities.
