Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and seasoned Storeperson to join our team in Perth, WA. This permanent, full-time role centers around hands-on warehouse functions within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will oversee inventory and support operational logistics ensuring timely, safe, and accurate distribution of materials. Responsibilities may include site travel based on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities including handling requisitions, purchase orders, receipting, invoicing, and managing relationships with suppliers.
• Maintain and control inventory through tasks such as stock receipting, conducting cycle counts, and executing bi-annual stocktakes.
• Prepare, pick, and pack materials accurately for site deliveries.
• Manage scheduling and coordination of freight collections and dispatches.
• Assist with project initiations and demobilizations by setting up warehouses and configuring related systems.
• Collaborate with Inventory Controller to review and manage slow-moving, excess, and obsolete stock items.
• Ensure adherence to established inventory policies, procedures, and systems compliance.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery for efficient loading and unloading of materials with safety as a priority.
• Keep the warehouse environment clean, organised, and compliant with safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations with responsibilities aligned to purchasing and inventory management.
• Familiarity with pick and pack processes, freight booking, and invoice handling.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Current forklift license with practical operation experience.
• Exposure to heavy industry settings is highly favorable.
• Excellent organisational skills combined with strong attention to detail and time management capabilities.
• Ability to function effectively in physically demanding, fast-moving environments.
• Certificate II in Warehousing is advantageous but not mandatory.
