Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Storekeeper position in Abu Dhabi for a construction environment. The person in this role will manage the movement, storage, and control of site materials so that project operations continue smoothly without delays.

Key Duties

• Accept incoming construction materials, unload them safely, and check each delivery against the paperwork and required quality standards.
• Arrange, label, and pack materials in an orderly way to support efficient warehouse and site operations.
• Keep inventory records updated and monitor stock availability to prevent shortages that could interrupt work.
• Work with project teams to release materials on time according to site requirements.
• Apply proper storage practices, safety rules, and housekeeping standards across the store or warehouse area.
• Support periodic stock verification exercises and prepare related reports.
• Operate material handling tools or equipment when needed for moving and storing heavy items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized storage environment.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction storekeeping.
• Good working knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Strong background in inventory control and inventory management.
• Experience in packing, unloading, and safe handling of materials.
• Ability to use forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Prior experience in a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or similar role in construction or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with procurement and warehouse documents such as GRN, issue vouchers, and stock reports is an advantage.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, coordinate with site teams, and communicate clearly in English; other languages are a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge for inventory tools and MS Office; ERP or warehouse software exposure is desirable.
• High school education or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, warehousing, or construction is an added benefit.
• Must already be in the UAE.
• Must have a valid driving license.
• Must be available for a face-to-face interview in Abu Dhabi.
