Storekeeper - Automotive Safety & Telematics

Role Overview

We seek a methodical and organized Storekeeper to manage daily inventory and store functions. This role requires overseeing the receipt, inspection, and organization of materials, ensuring stock records are accurate and maintained using Tally software, and collaborating closely with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily store and inventory tasks including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
• Validate incoming items against purchase orders and delivery documents, inspecting for quantity, specifications, and condition.
• Maintain precise inventory transactions such as receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments within Tally.
• Label and arrange stock logically for easy retrieval and optimal space use.
• Conduct routine physical inventory checks and reconcile findings with digital records.
• Investigate inconsistencies, damages, or lost items and report appropriately.
• Generate stock statements, inventory reports, and maintain all necessary documentation.
• Liaise with Procurement and suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, or replacements.
• Facilitate audits by providing accurate and comprehensive stock records.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2 to 3 years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or storekeeping.
• Practical experience using Tally software is essential.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Possession of a degree in any discipline.
• Additional advantage if experienced with ERP or inventory systems, or familiar with automotive, telematics, IoT, electronics, spare parts, or technical equipment sectors.
