Role Overview
We seek a skilled Store Development Designer to produce precise 2D layouts and 3D models for FreshChoice store development, encompassing both refurbishments and new locations. You'll translate design briefs into detailed blueprints, coordinate with various teams to ensure accuracy, and uphold the FreshChoice brand standards across our expanding store network.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate comprehensive 2D floor plans and 3D equipment models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and Civil 3D for store projects.
- Convert initial concept sketches and specifications into practical, actionable plans for store setup.
- Adapt and update existing designs based on input from site managers, engineers, and project collaborators.
- Maintain and improve FreshChoice brand design documentation and complex layout files.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, design personnel, and architects to address spatial challenges.
- Conduct site visits to collect accurate data and resolve on-site design issues.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and deliverables are met.
- Review all drawings before submission to maintain rigorous quality standards and eliminate errors.
- Ensure designs comply with health and safety regulations, building codes, brand format specifications, and sustainability objectives.
- Organize and manage all design versions and blueprints in a centralized database for easy access and traceability.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
- Proficient with 2D and 3D modeling software, especially AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Adept at reading, interpreting, and analyzing architectural, engineering, and mechanical drawings.
- Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and capability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex design information to multidisciplinary teams and adopt an Agile working approach.
