Steward / Waiter

Overview

The Belgian Waffle Co. is seeking a Steward / Waiter to join their team in Surat, Gujarat. This role involves delivering courteous and prompt service to customers while supporting café operations to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and offer prompt, attentive service throughout their visit.
• Accurately record customers' orders and handle payment processing efficiently.
• Serve freshly prepared waffles, drinks, and other menu items following standard operating procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure hygiene standards in the dining and service areas are upheld.
• Assist in food preparation, packing orders, and presenting dishes attractively.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and coordinated service.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Monitor inventory, assist in restocking supplies, and ensure availability of essentials.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, grooming standards, and company guidelines.
• Participate in opening and closing duties for the store as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Effective communication skills and a strong customer-service focus.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene principles and café operations.
• A positive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Freshers are welcome to apply; prior experience in food and beverage settings is beneficial.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
