About the internship

This work-from-home internship focuses on Spanish language data work for AI and speech technology initiatives. The role supports transcription, annotation, and broader language data tasks used in training and improving AI systems. Selected interns will turn Spanish audio into clean text and complete related labeling work according to project rules.

What you will do

• Review Spanish audio clips and produce precise written transcriptions.
• Handle audio annotation tasks such as segmentation, speaker identification, and metadata tagging.
• Spot unclear speech, background noise, speaker changes, and transcription mistakes.
• Work strictly within the transcription and annotation instructions provided for each project.
• Keep output accurate, consistent, and timely while meeting productivity expectations.
• Check and polish transcription files before sending them for review.
• Track completed work and monitor progress across assigned tasks.
• Discuss revisions and feedback with project managers when needed.
• Protect the privacy and confidentiality of client files and audio content.
• Finish assigned work within the given deadlines.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work remotely, are ready to begin between 3 July 2026 and 7 August 2026, and can commit to a 2-month internship. Applicants should have relevant skills and a genuine interest in language-focused AI work.

Requirements

Candidates should have strong Spanish listening, reading, writing, and comprehension ability, along with solid proofreading skills and comfort working independently. A laptop or desktop with reliable internet access is necessary. Native or fluent Spanish speakers are preferred. Prior exposure to transcription, annotation, AI data collection, language review, or localization projects will be an advantage, though freshers with excellent Spanish skills are also welcome. Applicants should be responsible, punctual, quality-focused, and able to manage time well.

Compensation and benefits

The monthly stipend is INR 7,000 to 24,000. The pay structure includes a fixed component of ₹5,000 to ₹15,000 per month and an incentive component of ₹2,000 to ₹9,000 per month. Benefits include a certificate and a letter of recommendation.
