Sourcing Specialist

Role overview

This position sits within the Talent Acquisition function and partners closely with Talent Acquisition Business Partners to find, attract, and engage sales, customer service, channel, and engineering talent for Hilti in Saudi Arabia. The focus is on building a diverse external talent pipeline for the region and supporting the company’s Lead 2030 hiring goals.

The role plays an important, proactive part in the TA team by improving visibility of open roles, understanding hiring priorities, and helping drive faster, higher-quality hiring outcomes.

Key duties

• Partner with the Talent Acquisition Business Partner to understand the role in depth and turn hiring manager needs into a sourcing plan.
• Use direct sourcing, market mapping, networking, and advanced research to find strong and diverse external candidates.
• Identify talent from relevant pools and referrals, then manage those candidates through the early hiring journey.
• Carry out market intelligence, competitor research, and candidate analysis to reach both active and passive talent.
• Create tailored outreach messages using sourcing tools such as email extractors and browser extensions, while presenting Hilti compellingly to potential candidates.
• Screen candidates thoroughly and anticipate hiring manager preferences when presenting passive talent.
• Review and shortlist direct applicants for assigned areas while working closely with hiring managers and TA business partners.
• Monitor reporting metrics such as days open, application volumes, search-to-interview conversion, and interview-to-offer conversion, then adjust sourcing methods to improve results.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, the TA team, and wider business stakeholders, while staying active in the sourcing community and sharing best practices internally.
• Promote Hilti as an employer of choice through LinkedIn and other social channels with regular, relevant communication.

Additional responsibilities and expectations

• Use LinkedIn, job boards, Avature referrals, and market mapping to source candidates for external hires in the region.
• Work with the TA Manager and Head of TA, and where needed HR, to align sourcing plans with hiring activity and keep recruiters and the business updated.
• Handle initial outreach, screening, and candidate engagement.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
• Share insight on talent availability, competitor movement, and candidate expectations.
• Lead Hiring Day setup with the TA Manager and help ensure a strong candidate pool and good attendance.
• Support diversity, inclusion, and localization-focused sourcing efforts.
• Represent Hilti professionally in every candidate interaction.
• Perform mapping for strategic roles when needed.
• Engage passive candidates through targeted communication and relationship-building.
• Keep the AM tracker updated in coordination with TA.
• Attend alignment meetings with the TA partner.
• Arrange interviews when required for supported roles.
