Job Overview

We are seeking a Site Civil Engineer located in Chromepet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Pin code 600044) to oversee daily construction operations on project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities at the site.
• Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Architects, Supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor workforce productivity and uphold quality standards in workmanship.
• Plan and control material requirements and maintain site inventory efficiently.
• Guarantee projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality benchmarks.
• Perform site inspections and address technical issues promptly.
• Check work progress, approve labor measurements, and authorize payments.
• Keep daily progress documentation and communicate updates to project coordinators.
• Enforce safety procedures and adhere to company quality policies.
• Return unused materials to the store after project completion and prepare reconciliation reports.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably B.E./B.Tech Civil.
• Open to freshers and experienced candidates as per project needs.
• Familiarity with residential building construction and onsite execution processes.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Basic understanding of construction materials and cost estimation.
• Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license and readiness to travel among different project locations.
• Strong communication, leadership abilities, and people management skills.
