About the Role
Join the Initial Hygiene team as a Service Planner based in either Wellington or Palmerston North. This key operational role involves scheduling and coordinating service visits to help technicians provide outstanding hygiene services efficiently across the Lower North Island region.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly technician schedules to ensure optimal operational flow.
- Optimize technician routes within the Lower North Island to minimize travel time and maximize on-site productivity.
- Confirm service appointments with customers and promptly communicate any changes or updates.
- Collaborate with sales and technician teams to manage urgent service requests and fill scheduling gaps caused by cancellations or disruptions such as weather.
- Reschedule customer visits as necessary for operational or environmental reasons.
- Ensure timely scheduling and completion of maintenance treatments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records in company databases.
- Address and resolve service-related issues or customer complaints effectively and efficiently.
- Provide appointment confirmation and routing support to additional regions when required.
Candidate Profile
- Ability to make quick, decisive, and informed decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all operational tasks.
- Proven planning and organizational skills with an analytical approach to assessing service effectiveness.
- A customer-focused mindset ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Negotiation skills are a plus.
- Effective communication skills for interfacing with technicians, customers, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with the service area geography is preferred.
