Senior Solutions Analyst - Workday HCM

Overview

FletcherTech, the technology division of Fletcher Building, supports over thirty businesses across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific by delivering advanced People & Performance systems. They are looking for a Senior Solutions Analyst specializing in Workday HCM for a fixed-term contract role until June 2027. This hybrid position is based at their Auckland head office and focuses on delivering improvements that enhance employee experiences throughout the organization.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support (Level 2/3) for Workday issues.
• Analyze existing processes, design enhancements, and implement improvements within Workday.
• Convert business requirements into solution designs, configuration setups, and deployment plans.
• Collaborate closely with end users to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Lead discussions on design, conduct review sessions, and manage stakeholder engagement effectively.
• Configure and test Workday changes, supporting software release cycles and deployment activities.
• Offer mentoring and guidance to less experienced Solutions Analysts and promote ongoing process refinements.

Qualifications and Skills

• A tertiary degree in IT, Computer Science, HR, or a related field.
• Intermediate to senior-level proficiency in configuring and supporting Workday HCM within complex or large-scale organizations.
• Solid hands-on experience in Workday HCM as well as familiarity with other common software and IT infrastructure.
• Proven capability in managing technical troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Competent in handling complex incidents and delivering system enhancements.
• Strong facilitation skills to conduct sessions and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• A customer-centric and collaborative mindset with a dedication to service excellence.
