Responsibilities

• Lead project budgeting and oversee operations to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Manage project staffing, organizational frameworks, and discipline structures efficiently.
• Ensure all project activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and security standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases for assigned projects, including major involvement in proposal preparation.
• Secure clear client objective agreements and strive to meet or surpass them.
• Achieve or exceed targeted gross margin budgets.
• Administer project contracts between Worley and clients, ensuring budget targets are met.
• Continuously monitor project performance to detect concerns and opportunities early and implement pre-emptive measures.
• Handle project interfaces effectively, leveraging High Value Engineering centers as needed.
• Develop resource and financial needs based on detailed project plans.
• Steer design, procurement, and construction activities to adhere to project timelines.
• Assume full ownership of project schedules and monitor progress regularly.
• Analyze key reporting data and generate corrective action plans when necessary.
• Oversee all project cost elements to forecast expenditures, seek approvals, identify trends, and prevent overruns while capitalizing on opportunities.
• Deliver inspiring leadership fostering a shared vision for project success and related strategic planning.
• Evaluate procurement processes to confirm item specifications, timely delivery, and budget compliance.
• Supervise Construction Management functions to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely project completion.

Quality Assurance

• Operate within defined Quality Assurance system guidelines.
• Collaborate with project teams to guarantee all projects follow Worley Project Management Process (WPMP) and Environmental Management System (EMS) standards.
• Track and ensure closure of all identified risks and opportunities.

Safety Responsibilities

• Commit to personal safety and adhere to occupational health and safety standards.
• Promote awareness of health, safety, and environmental considerations among the team.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) designation or progress towards obtaining it is advantageous.

Industry Experience

• Extensive prior experience managing significant projects successfully.
• Demonstrated technical expertise along with supervisory or project management leadership.
• Strong background in offshore Brownfield projects.
• Essential experience in Pre-FEED and FEED project stages.
