This opportunity is offered through a hiring partner, which handles applications and all subsequent steps. The employer is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst, Strategy & Analytics for a Germany-based role within a fully remote, international organization.
You will act as a strategic analytics partner to marketing leadership, turning complex performance data into practical recommendations that guide decisions across SEM, SEO, and new AI-led acquisition channels. The position combines strategy, analytics, and operational thinking, with a focus on defining metrics, building forecast models, and linking marketing activity to revenue outcomes. It suits someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, working across functions, and influencing marketing strategy at scale.
What you'll do
- Work through large and complex marketing data sets to uncover trends, root causes, and key performance drivers across SEM, SEO, and AI-driven acquisition channels.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visual outputs, including Tableau-based materials, to help marketing leaders make informed decisions.
- Design forecasting models, carry out statistical analysis, and run experiments to measure performance and improve budget allocation.
- Establish and align marketing metrics so they accurately reflect business goals and create consistency across teams.
- Turn analytical findings into clear recommendations that improve conversion rates, efficiency, and revenue impact.
- Trace full marketing funnels and associated data paths from acquisition to revenue to improve visibility and identify optimization opportunities.
- Use generative AI tools to streamline analytics workflows, automate reporting, and evaluate performance in AI-powered search channels.
- Partner with marketing, data, and business stakeholders to set priorities and support strategic initiatives.
What the role requires
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or Economics.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or marketing analytics.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in consulting or analytical operations environments.
- Strong experience analyzing SEM, SEO, and AI-based or generative search marketing channels.
- Solid SQL skills, along with exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Experience with R, Python, or similar analytical tools is an advantage.
- Good command of statistical analysis, experimentation, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
- Practical use of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for analytics or automation tasks.
- Ability to connect data insights with business strategy, financial outcomes, and operational performance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analysis for non-technical audiences.
- Effective stakeholder management and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with the confidence to question assumptions and spot gaps.
