Join Tiaki Wai as a Senior Engineer Asset Planning for Networks, where you will play a pivotal role in guiding the long-term strategies and investment decisions shaping the future of water networks in the Wellington region. This role focuses on system-level strategic planning, analyzing network performance, risk assessment, and ensuring infrastructure resilience over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead system-wide long-term planning and establish investment priorities for the water network.
• Develop comprehensive Network Management Plans translating complex risk, performance, and growth challenges into clear investment recommendations.
• Collaborate with operational and technical teams to direct essential investigations and support robust decision-making.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in water infrastructure planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, or Civil) or related field.
• Recognized expertise in water network engineering, asset lifecycle planning, and hydraulic/process modelling.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and advanced technical engineering skills.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) certification or in progression towards it.

Workplace & Schedule

This position is based onsite at the Petone office, conveniently located near the train station, beach, and local shops. The role is part-time with a 40-hour workweek.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary range from $108,644 to $153,379 per annum inclusive of KiwiSaver contributions, commensurate with skills and experience.
