Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to become a key member of our client's Integration DevOps team situated in Wellington. This position focuses on managing and enhancing cloud infrastructure to ensure efficient integration and deployment across multiple systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive and skilled problem solver with a strong background in cloud environments, automation, and modern continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Responsibilities and Skills

• Design, develop, and maintain automated pipelines using GitHub Actions to support seamless integration and deployment.
• Utilize Azure services including API Manager, Function Apps, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Service Bus to optimize infrastructure and workflows.
• Implement and manage cloud solutions involving RedHat OpenShift and Kafka technologies.
• Apply scripting abilities for system automation and tool integration to enhance operational efficiency.
• Demonstrate understanding of networking concepts relevant to Azure cloud environments to maintain secure and reliable systems.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer.
