Role Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst at Clarus, you will spearhead discovery, analysis, and solution design within complex technology projects. This role requires close collaboration with both business and technology teams to grasp current system environments, identify key impacts, and specify requirements that ensure viable and sustainable solutions aligned with operational goals. This position is distinctive from traditional BA roles as it deeply engages with system details such as integrations, data flows, legacy platforms, and operational effects, while remaining sharply focused on achieving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the discovery and analysis phases involving complex systems, applications, integrations, and data landscapes.
• Develop comprehensive business, technical, data, and non-functional requirements.
• Evaluate operational impacts, associated risks, dependencies, and readiness for change.
• Assist with validation, testing, and approval processes to ensure solution effectiveness.
• Facilitate communication between senior business leaders, subject matter experts, architects, developers, testers, and external vendors.
• Contribute to implementation planning, readiness, and change management activities.
• Provide leadership by mentoring and coaching fellow Business Analysts and team members.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex technology-driven environments.
• Strong technical and data analytical skills, including familiarity with integrations, data migration, reporting, and legacy systems.
• Proven ability to translate intricate technical details into actionable business solutions.
• Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication capabilities.
• Experience mentoring colleagues and fostering team capabilities.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity and complex scenarios.

This role is based in Bell Block or Hamilton offices, with the option to work from home occasionally.
