Role Overview

The Security Shift Manager is charged with overseeing guard deployment in accordance with strategic design, managing discipline, instructing personnel, ensuring appropriate turnout, and facilitating training related to duty post and employee interactions. This role requires physical fitness and mental alertness to respond efficiently alongside a patrolling guard team to various security incidents such as unauthorized gate entries, fire outbreaks, medical emergencies, theft attempts, and traffic rule violations within the campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold Pinkerton's core principles of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in all duties.
  • Manage guard deployment, provide instructions, maintain discipline, oversee uniform turnout, and conduct relevant training for duty posts and employee interactions.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents including unauthorized entries, fires, medical emergencies to Occupational Health Centers, theft attempts, and traffic violations inside the campus premises.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving device downtime by collaborating with operators and AMC vendors.
  • Support coordination during customer and guest visits.
  • Participate actively in security control audits.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualification & Skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in core security operations or loss prevention within large organizations, preferably in the service sector.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications including basic Excel and PowerPoint, capable of preparing daily security incident reports.

  • Fluency in English and local regional languages.
