About the Role
As a key member of the Post Trade Operations team based in Auckland, you will contribute to the company's vision of enabling financial potential by supporting trade settlement, custody, and investment operations for Australia and New Zealand. This role involves ensuring precise trade settlement, safeguarding client assets, and managing post-trade processes in a fast-paced, collaborative fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily settlement and custody operations across Australia and New Zealand.
- Ensure accurate settlement of trades and reconciliation of client holdings.
- Process corporate actions efficiently and maintain robust operational controls.
- Collaborate with internal teams, registries, custodians, and market participants to deliver superior operational results.
- Participate in continuous process enhancement initiatives to improve operational performance.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in trade settlement, custody, or investment operations in the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of New Zealand clearing and settlement procedures.
- Ability to manage competing priorities through a collaborative and organized approach.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in engaging internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with reconciliation or settlement software is advantageous.
