Position Overview
Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular full-time Scheduler/Timekeeper to join our Collections Operations West team located in Manitoba. This role involves developing and managing work schedules and performing timekeeping duties primarily for the Logistics department, adhering to organizational policies and collective agreements. The position requires a minimum of 40% on-site presence at 777 William Ave, with additional on-site days as business needs dictate, in a hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with managers and supervisors to assess and plan staffing needs to meet operational demands.
- Create, update, and adjust work schedules in line with collective agreement requirements.
- Execute timekeeping and payroll tasks for all employees within the Supply Chain division.
- Maintain precise and accurate records related to scheduling and timekeeping.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
- At least three years of experience in scheduling, preferably within a regulated setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; tested Excel skills are part of the hiring process.
- Strong analytical abilities with capacity for deductive reasoning and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, interpersonal skills, and exceptional organizational capabilities to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strict confidentiality concerning employee information is mandatory.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Work Details and Environment
- The working schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- The role requires approximately 40% on-site attendance, with the remainder potentially remote.
