Overview
We are seeking a Sales Partnerships Director based in Australia to spearhead regional growth by establishing and expanding strategic partnerships and enhancing direct revenue channels across Australia and New Zealand. This role offers a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution within a global SaaS business environment, driving market expansion, supporting innovative product adoption, and fostering strong collaborations across various functions including sales, marketing, product, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead revenue growth at a regional level through both partner-led and direct sales channels, focusing heavily on expanding partner-driven opportunities.
- Design and implement a robust go-to-market plan targeting increased customer acquisition, market penetration, and business expansion in Australia and New Zealand.
- Identify, engage, and nurture strategic partnerships aligning with business goals and regional expansion prospects.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with partners, ensuring their successful enablement, engagement, and commercial outcomes.
- Craft comprehensive partner development plans while collaborating with marketing teams to execute campaigns that align with growth targets.
- Drive direct sales by spotting key market opportunities, building a qualified sales pipeline, managing complex sales cycles, and finalizing new business deals.
- Collaborate closely with regional solution consultants and customer service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience across acquisition, expansion, and retention phases.
- Utilize resources from global product, marketing, operations, and commercial teams to support and enhance regional execution.
- Facilitate the launch and market adoption of new product solutions by preparing the market, enabling partners, and generating customer demand.
- Monitor competitive landscapes and market trends, providing insights to refine product and marketing strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, manage pipelines, and provide revenue forecasts for partner and direct sales activities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Over eight years of experience in sales, channel partnerships, business development, or commercial leadership.
- Minimum three years managing sales, marketing, business development, or partner-driven teams and projects.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining strategic partnerships, ideally within SaaS, technology, or B2B sectors.
- Strong competence in direct sales with a background in creating pipelines, managing intricate sales processes, and securing enterprise deals.
- Expertise in sales best practices, including pipeline and opportunity management, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Proficient in developing demand generation tactics across both inbound and outbound channels.
- Deep knowledge of partnership ecosystems with the ability to recruit, onboard, and empower valuable partners.
- Familiarity with EHSQ, ESG, sustainability, or chemical management markets is a strong plus.
- Experience launching new products or solutions within regional markets.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working independently while driving regional growth efforts.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building abilities.
