Job description
Overview
The Sales Operations team enables the sales force by providing essential tools, data, and resources that optimize business driving capabilities and streamline sales processes ensuring quality and uniformity.
Order Management
- Monitor dealer vehicle orders from entry through shipment stages.
- Assist dealers with queries related to order placement via Order Work Bench (OWB), collaborating with marketing managers and North America order fulfillment teams to maintain OWB readiness.
- Schedule vehicle production and shipment documentation.
- Collaborate with Middle East dealers to rectify order inconsistencies to ensure prompt vehicle release.
- Ensure dealer orders align with allocation and consensus frameworks.
- Confirm system readiness to accept both new and carry-over model orders.
Production and Shipment Monitoring
- Interface actively with International Product Center and offshore production plants.
- Generate order pipeline reports and provide logistical support to field teams.
- Alert management and field teams about potential delays in production and shipping.
- Coordinate with dealers, product managers, sales teams, source plants, and IPC to resolve order or shipment discrepancies.
- Conduct weekly tracking, analysis, and communication using shipment tracking tools with IPC and dealers.
- Support wholesale objectives through collaboration with logistics, offshore plants, and third-party service providers.
- Participate in weekly shipment discussions and track new vehicle launches' orders and shipments.
- Publish weekly reports for field and marketing teams and support wholesale financial controls.
- Handle conformity certificate applications and associated payments.
Distribution and Ad-Hoc Sales Support
- Provide dealers with regular updates on allocations, order specifics, and shipping timelines.
- Offer administrative assistance for dealer and regional system queries including purchase requests and budget control.
- Manage sales allowances processes, guidelines, and claim settlements.
Customer Relation and Communication
- Serve as the main point for dealer communication regarding production and shipment aspects.
- Foster collaboration among dealers, distribution teams, source plants, logistics providers, and field teams to ensure transparency and visibility.
- Develop and manage regular communication channels to keep dealers informed, address issues through operational calls, and drive engagement activities.
- Focus on high-risk and high-value shipments by providing pre-alerts to dealers.
- Evaluate communication strategies and frequency for continuous improvements.
- Coordinate all logistics activities effectively.
Data Management
- Oversee all distribution data, reports, and timely updates from stakeholders.
- Create ad-hoc reports upon leadership request.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 5 years experience in automotive or similar sectors.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Understanding of automotive or logistics industry preferred but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering required.
