Rotational Occupational Therapist

About the Role

This fixed-term secondment opportunity lasts until 18th December 2026. We are inviting HCPC-registered Occupational Therapists to join our friendly and supportive band five rotational team.

This role is ideal for newly qualified occupational therapists or those seeking to expand their experience through a diverse rotation program. The rotation covers various specialties including orthopaedics, surgical wards, neuro/stroke rehabilitation, wheelchair services, community teams in Inverness, and the Emergency Department.

Job Responsibilities

Key duties include working with patients presenting a wide array of conditions, supporting timely and safe discharges during acute hospital rotations, and contributing as part of an extended hours seven-day rotation where required.

The successful candidate will engage in ongoing professional development, participate in the North of Scotland Preceptorship programme, receive regular clinical supervision, and have opportunities to contribute to practice placement education.

Additional Requirements

• A full driving licence is mandatory due to the nature of the role.
• Applicants awaiting their Occupational Therapy qualification or HCPC registration will also be considered.
