As a Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you will be the trusted face of the UK's largest motoring organization, providing vital support and reassurance during breakdowns. Your role requires readiness and resilience to assist members anytime, anywhere, under any weather condition, ensuring their journeys resume swiftly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Begin and end your shifts at your home driveway, with paid hours covering your entire van journey.
• Operate independently in diverse locations and conditions, while staying connected to a supportive team environment.
• Apply your technical expertise and communicate clearly to deliver excellent customer service.
• Diagnose and resolve roadside issues calmly and efficiently, addressing a variety of vehicle faults and situations.

Requirements

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or possess equivalent qualifications combined with suitable experience.
• Maintain a full category B driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Demonstrate adaptability and confidence with new technologies—we provide the tools and encourage curiosity.
• Be flexible to work varied shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as breakdowns can occur anytime.
