About the Role
Ampol is looking for a Retail Team Member in Hamilton, New South Wales. The role sits within one of Australia’s well-known convenience retail networks, focused on helping customers quickly and pleasantly whenever they visit the store for fuel, essentials, or other everyday needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this position, you will help keep the store running smoothly by supporting merchandising, managing stock, and assisting with inventory control. You’ll also process sales through the point-of-sale system and complete cash reconciliation at the end of shifts to ensure everything balances correctly.
Key Duties
- Provide a high standard of customer care and aim to go beyond basic service expectations.
- Assist the store manager with day-to-day retail operations.
- Work cooperatively with teammates to maintain a positive store environment.
- Pay close attention to safety, accuracy, and store presentation standards.
- Be available for a roster that can include weekends and overnight shifts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in retail or customer-facing work is preferred.
- Comfort using POS systems and handling cash accurately.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Willingness to work across a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends.
