Research Analyst

About the Role

Crossing Hurdles is offering a remote contractor position for Academic Researchers on a full-time or part-time basis. Compensation ranges from $20 to $60 per hour depending on experience. Candidates will be expected to commit between 10 to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, format, and review multifaceted documents using Microsoft Word and PDF tools, including advanced functions like tracked changes and data extraction.
• Work closely with diverse teams spanning legal, healthcare, policy, and finance to support a variety of project objectives.
• Convert intricate research insights into well-structured reports and presentations suitable for Fortune 500 standards.
• Assess and condense academic literature, legal documents, and industry data to guide project decisions.
• Maintain high accuracy, consistency, and adhere to specified guidelines across all written materials.

Required Qualifications

• Substantial relevant professional experience in academic research, legal, policy, healthcare, or related domains.
• Possession of a Master's degree, PhD, or JD from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in preparing and critically reviewing Word and PDF documents, specifically with tracked changes and data extraction capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities effectively within a remote, deadline-sensitive environment.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating within multidisciplinary groups to deliver complex outputs.
