About the Role

Brafton, a globally recognized content marketing agency with offices in Boston, London, Toronto, and Sydney, is dedicated to elevating marketing content through innovative strategies that enhance SEO, social engagement, and lead generation. Positioned remotely with flexibility to use shared office space in downtown Boston, the Videographer & Editor role involves leading all facets of video production, including filming and editing both on-location and in-house, collaborating closely with a producer.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality video productions punctually.
Maintain a positive and creative work environment.
Execute shooting and editing tasks for both on-location and in-house videos.
Develop storyboards for narrative projects.
Coach talent appearing on screen and voice-over artists.
Manage video equipment maintenance at the Quincy, MA storage facility.
Regular travel engagement ranging from 30% to 60% of work activity.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in video production.
Advocate for the Video Department throughout the organization.

Required Experience and Skills

Formal education in cinematography or video/film production preferred; significant industry experience may substitute.
Comprehensive knowledge of production workflows including camera operation, lighting, and audio capture.
Strong videography and editing ability, with proven experience directing talent.
Proficiency with Canon C200 or equivalent cameras, three-point lighting setups, and audio recording/mixing.
Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and Audition; preferred experience using Adobe After Effects.
Competency in Lumetri color correction techniques.
Experience in green-screen studio and location shoots with a deep understanding of related workflows.
Familiarity with AI-generated video and voice-over content is highly desirable.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively under pressure.
Possession of a valid driver's license and capability to rent vehicles for work purposes.
