Job description
Overview
MyIntegra seeks a Regional Support Coordinator to assess and support NDIS participants referred for Support Coordination services. This position is based remotely, with the successful candidate located in Sydney to facilitate essential in-person visits with participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide NDIS participants in executing their NDIS Plans and managing their supports and services.
- Ensure all administrative tasks comply with required standards and regulations.
- Build and sustain relationships with quasi-government bodies and various disability organizations and groups.
- Take initiative in fostering and maintaining these stakeholder networks.
- Promote MyIntegra’s services and increase awareness of NDIS Support Coordination by conducting presentations to diverse groups such as Local Area Coordinators, Disability Service Providers, participants, nominees, and support groups.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated empathy and genuine care for individuals with disabilities.
- Strong ability to present information clearly and confidently respond to inquiries from groups, managers, and clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Skillful engagement of potential clients and ability to convert inquiries into leads.
- Proven competency in building and nurturing professional stakeholder relationships.
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and readiness to travel for client visits when necessary.
- Experience of at least 6 months to 1 year working as an NDIS Support Coordinator.
- Allied Health qualifications or minimum Certificate IV in Allied Health, Disability, Aged Care, or a related field.
- Familiarity with complex family health issues is advantageous.
- Must successfully complete an NDIS Worker Screening Check and hold a current Working with Children Check.
