Role Summary

The Asia Pacific Regional Product Manager for Transfer Solutions will be based in Singapore or Hong Kong. This role supports the growth, commercialization, and enhancement of Transfer Solutions products across the Asia Pacific region by collaborating with stakeholders both locally and globally. Responsibilities include driving product adoption, discovering new market opportunities, assisting customer engagements, and aiding Mastercard’s money movement strategy delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing the Transfer Solutions product strategy and regional market priorities.
  • Contribute to product roadmap creation based on customer insights, market conditions, and business objectives.
  • Assess new use cases, identify opportunities, and analyze industry trends to fuel product growth.
  • Prepare business justifications for product improvements and market expansion plans.
  • Support growth of cross-border services and broader Mastercard Move functionalities.
  • Collaborate with market teams to increase adoption across various money movement scenarios including cross-border remittances, consumer/business disbursements, marketplace payouts, commercial transactions, and person-to-person or business-to-business transfers.
  • Participate in go-to-market strategies, launch preparations, and market activation exercises.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Transfer Solutions cross-border services products.
  • Engage in customer meetings, strategic product discussions, and solution workshops.
  • Work alongside Sales, Account Management, and Customer Delivery teams to facilitate new business opportunities.
  • Collect customer feedback and intelligence to guide product direction.
  • Coordinate closely with global product teams to release new features and enhancements.
  • Partner with Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to ensure smooth product rollouts and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Produce management reports, updates, and participate in strategic planning.
  • Track product performance, adoption data, and sector trends to optimize outcomes.
  • Identify areas for improving user experience, operational processes, and commercial performance.
  • Support governance and compliance to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of seven years’ experience in product management within payments, banking, financial technology, or financial services sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of payment systems, money transfer, real-time payments, remittances, and cross-border payments ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to coordinate initiatives with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills capable of translating data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation excellence.
  • Comfortable working effectively in a dynamic, matrixed, global environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic credentials.
  • Proficiency in English required; fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred.

Preferred Background

  • Experience collaborating with banks, fintechs, payment service providers, or money transfer organizations.
  • Familiarity with cross-border payments, real-time payment solutions, and international remittance products.
  • Understanding of the Asia Pacific payment landscape and local market nuances.
  • Track record supporting product launches, commercialization, or market entry projects.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks affecting domestic and cross-border payments.

Corporate Security Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Mastercard’s security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of organizational data and systems.
  • Report any security incidents or breaches promptly.
  • Complete all mandatory security training as per company guidelines.
