Overview
Our client is a globally recognized manufacturer and supplier specializing in specialty food ingredients with a broad international footprint. Their clientele spans sectors including food, beverage, nutrition, and industrial markets. As part of their strategic growth in the Middle East, they are seeking a commercially focused individual to enhance regional business development efforts, pinpoint expansion possibilities, and nurture customer relations across critical markets.
Role Summary
Positioned in the UAE, the chosen candidate will have in-depth familiarity with local business customs and practices. Responsibilities entail identifying new market opportunities, liaising with both potential and current clients, and delivering market intelligence that supports regional expansion initiatives. This role emphasizes supporting business development and coordinating market activities but does not encompass negotiating contract terms or finalizing agreements.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least five years of professional experience in business development, market expansion, sales support, regional account management, or market intelligence.
- Preferably possessing experience within the food ingredients, commodities, agribusiness, FMCG, or beverage sectors.
- Demonstrated capability working across several Middle Eastern markets.
- Experience in multinational or regional corporate environments is advantageous.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required; knowledge of Hindi is considered an asset.

- Strong commercial insight coupled with a business development mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including managing stakeholders and effective communication.
- Proven ability to cultivate relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and regional partners.
- Highly developed analytical and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and resourceful, capable of independently handling responsibilities across multiple countries.
Additional Preferences
- Having an existing professional network within the food, beverage, ingredients, or commodities sectors.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the Middle East approximately 30 to 50% of the time.
