Job description
Role Overview
We seek a highly skilled Red Team Operations Specialist with extensive practical expertise in adversary simulation and sophisticated offensive security activities. This position is distinct from standard Penetration Testing roles, focusing on professionals who have successfully led authentic Red Team operations demonstrating advanced attack techniques.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Lead comprehensive Red Team engagements from planning through execution.
- Create and implement adversary simulation scenarios simulating attacker tactics.
- Apply deep understanding of Operational Security (OpSec) principles to maintain stealth.
- Execute initial access methods hands-on, aimed at penetrating target environments.
- Develop methods to evade security controls and detection mechanisms.
- Utilize Command & Control (C2) frameworks effectively in attack simulations.
- Design and develop offensive security or Red Team tools.
- Conduct original research contributing novel techniques or tools in Red Team operations.
- Deliver training sessions educating others on Red Team or offensive security practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with an emphasis on offensive security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end Red Team campaigns.
- Certification: CRTO II (Certified Red Team Operator II) is mandatory.
- Ability to provide supporting documents including CV, a portfolio of Red Team engagements, evidence of tool development, documentation of original research or techniques, training delivered, and certification proof.
Additional Information
Applicants primarily experienced in vulnerability assessments or standard penetration testing without direct, hands-on Red Team or adversary simulation work will not qualify. Candidates are encouraged to submit applications or connect directly if aligned with the profile.
